At 124 Marketplace, our community atmosphere is second to none. Recently we hosted our annual Halloween Parade Open House coinciding with the West Chester Halloween Parade, that took place on October 26. It was a great way to celebrate the scariest night of the year while enjoying the fantastic community spirit of our West Chester, PA apartments.

The 124 Marketplace Halloween Parade Open House took place in the lobby starting at 6pm, as we transformed the area into a spooky hangout with eerie lights and decorations. We even got out our smoke machine to ramp up the atmosphere and create a distinctly Halloween vibe! We had an amazing turnout with many residents attended and stayed the entire time, watched the parade and even hung out after. Of course, it’s not a party without refreshments, which is why we offered tasty food and delicious drinks. Our residents loved Rize Pizza, which was gone in less than an hour. We also had Philly soft pretzel trays, non-alcoholic dessert shots filled with chocolate moose and apple chunks from Chef Sylvie of Cusine de Sylvie, 4 different kinds of Victory Beer, wine from the Chadsford Winery and Halloween Candy making it an event that everyone could enjoy!

We also served slices of delicious, piping-hot pizza courtesy of Rize Pizza, which means you’ll be in for a real treat. Rize Pizza is one of the most popular pizzerias in the area because of their mouthwatering recipes, and we’re proud to say that they’ll be a new 124 Marketplace retail tenant coming in the Spring of 2017! This is great news for our residents since you no longer have to walk far to get a gourmet slice of pizza; just come on downstairs, head a few steps to Rize Pizza, and satisfy your cravings.
We all enjoyed the night and watched the West Chester Halloween Parade together, really reinforcing the strength of our community. Having the event in the lobby made it easy for everyone to just walk inside the building when they wanted to have a bite or a drink. Some even spent the entire night in the lobby to meet your neighbors and enjoy the refreshments we served. We also had a contest and costume contest for two $50 gift cards that was a massive hit. Our Halloween Parade Open House was truly a great time with residents being able to meet and interact with their neighbors while basking in the Halloween spirit.
